This is how Astronomers measuring stars
Stars appear as mere pinpoints in even the largest telescopes. Stars are so distant (the next nearest is 260,000 times further away than the sun) that we see them only as points of light. The sun is a star.
In general, a star is an object making its own energy and that is (or was) capable of sufficiently high central temperature and pressure that nuclear reactions can occur.
Stars are much too far away to derive their properties like mass, radius, temperature, luminosity, etc… We can determine these amazing physical properties of stars, usually based only on a little bit of light. This video will let you know about different methods and formulas which are usually being used by astronomers to derive these physical properties of the stars.
